What is MeRT?

Advanced Magnetic Stimulation. Targeted Where you need it.

Simply Stated

What is MeRT?

Begins with precise diagnostics, completes with personalized magnetic stimulation.

MeRT (Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy) begins with a quantitative EEG (qEEG). The qEEG functions as a 'brain map' that reveals each patient's unique functional patterns. Based on those results, the stimulation location, intensity, and frequency are designed individually for each patient.

The equipment is FDA-cleared, generating magnetic waves that gently stimulate targeted brain regions. Non-invasive, painless, and drug-free, MeRT has been applied to Autism Spectrum Disorder, PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury, Depression, Anxiety, Sleep Disorders, and other neurological conditions.

MeRT is an individualized adjunctive treatment, applied only with medical staff evaluation and the informed consent of the patient or guardian. We do not guarantee a cure for any specific condition.

Our Platform

By analyzing brainwave data, we provide a protocol customized to each individual — driving the best possible outcomes.

Combining deep neuroscience expertise with quantitative data analysis, we generate individually optimized treatment protocols, and from those we interpret the brain function indicators that can be improved.

What is MeRT℠?

The brain is composed of approximately 100 billion neurons

It is well known that the human brain contains roughly 100 billion neurons. The brain operates through interacting populations of neurons. One way these populations communicate is through tiny electrical oscillations — brainwaves.

"If we can positively influence injured or atypical brains, the day when we can improve neural connections in healthy brains and universally enhance intelligence may not be far away."

What is MeRT℠?

Your neurons can be disrupted by many things

The functional effectiveness of neuron-population interaction can be disrupted by many factors. Common causes include:

  • Sleep disorders
  • Congenital conditions
  • Chemical trauma / poisoning
  • Acute head injury
  • Extreme stress / emotional trauma

Disruption in neuron interaction can be minor or significant. Each person has their own baseline for withstanding such disturbance, but with even a small nudge in the right direction, disrupted brain function can be improved.

The MeRT℠ Platform

Our technology is a platform to restore the mind

By measuring and analyzing brainwave activity, we identify disruptions in the brain network and generate treatment criteria tailored to your needs. In most cases, regardless of the original cause of disruption, we can meaningfully reorganize brainwave activity.

The MeRT℠ platform is a patent-protected process and is currently the subject of rigorous research at the U.S. Department of Defense and multiple civilian institutions.

Your brainwaves carry profound value.

By analyzing the functional communication between neuron populations, we can understand how you experience the world.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does MeRT differ from standard TMS?

Standard TMS follows a fixed protocol, whereas MeRT designs stimulation location, intensity, and frequency individually for each patient based on qEEG analysis — a fully personalized approach.

What neurological conditions has MeRT been applied to?

MeRT has been applied to a range of neurological conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury and concussion, Depression, Anxiety, and Sleep Disorders.

What does FDA-cleared mean?

The equipment used in MeRT is a medical device cleared by the U.S. FDA. However, MeRT itself is an adjunctive treatment applied with medical evaluation and informed consent.

Is the treatment painful?

Non-invasive magnetic stimulation is painless. Patients may feel a mild tapping sensation on the scalp, and most receive treatment without difficulty.

Can MeRT be used alongside medication?

Yes. MeRT is designed as a complement to medication, not a replacement. Existing pharmacological treatments can be continued.

How long do the effects last?

Duration of effect varies by individual condition and environment. The medical team monitors changes through periodic follow-up and may recommend additional sessions when needed.
